Hey y'all!
I just felt like wishin' all of you a happy Mother's Day! I may or may not create something for this occasion, and if I do, it will not be up today, or for a while, most likely. Also, I am nearing completion with one of my other projects, and I hope to have it done and up pretty soon, if fate permits it.

Paramount and CBS's Star Trek Fan-film guidelines
So, I don't know if you've heard, but Paramount and CBS recently dropped a set of guidelines for what Star Trek Fan-Films can do: http://www.startrek.com/fan-films
I'm sure you can see the big problem with them.
They pretty much kill every single Star Trek fan-film ever. And every single Star Trek fan-film which anyone might ever want to make. For example: Star Trek: Horizon. It's supposed to have a sequel. But now, according to these guidelines, it can't happen. In fact, CBS has already gotten in touch with the man responsible for Star Trek: Horizon and has advised him against making the sequel (http://fff.trekbloggers.com/2016/04/20/cbs-s
Lac Ste. Anne Fire is controlled!
https://edmontonjournal.com/news/local-news/wildfire-threatens-first-nations-community-west-of-edmonton
Alright! First good news to come from all this! As of last night at 9:45 pm, the evacuation order for Lac Ste Anne has been lifted and people are now allowed to return to their homes there. That fire is still burning, but it is now under control. However, the fire south of High Level is still raging out-of-control, and the evacuation order for that area is still in place. They are now saying that the fire started at the Norbord Inc. Industrial Yard, which produces oriented strand board. Fortunately High Level itself is currently out
Northern Alberta Is On Fire!
I don't know how many people are paying attention to Alberta's apparent fire problem, but it's a pretty big one: there are now FIVE individual forest fires burning: there's the one which is currently putting Fort McMurray to the torch, there is one menacing Lac Ste. Anne and area (there's a mandatory evacuation going on there, just like in Fort McMurray, and if I could get above the trees around my house and look, I would see the smoke from it (I live just north of Stony Plain Alberta, not too far away from Lac Ste. Anne), there is one burning along highway 881 from Fort McMurray (caused by an explosion resulting from a fatal collision betwee
The Force Awakens is AWESOME!!!!!
I just got back from watching Star Wars: Episode 7: The Force Awakens in theatres.
Ho. Ly. S**t!
Out of respect for anyone who has not yet seen it and wishes to, I will not say anything about it (although I'd LOVE to) except for one thing: it's awesome. And if you plan to see it, good for you! You won't regret it. If you DON'T plan on seeing it, on the other hand, then PLAN ON SEEING IT. ESPECIALLY if you loved the original Star Wars trilogy. You will be doing yourself a GREAT disservice if you do not go and see The Force Awakens in theatres while you still can. And if you're worried that it's going to be the prequel trilogy all over
